Job description
A normal day for a Benefit Navigator includes:
- Assessing and coordinating client benefits programs, including health claims, disability claims, and other health related benefits
- Serving as the main point of contact for clients regarding benefit inquiries and issue resolution
- Conducting client orientation sessions to inform about available benefits and application processes
- Collaborating with the team lead and other benefit navigators to ensure accurate and timely communication of benefit updates and changes
- Maintaining client benefit records and ensure data integrity
- Assisting with client enrollment process, including account set up, form preparation, and client information sessions
- Staying up-to-date on industry policies and regulations related to client benefits, such as Veteran Affairs, RCMP, etc.
Qualifications & Experience
We are looking to hire a candidate with the following qualifications:
- Fluency in French considered an asset
- Previous experience in the Canadian Armed Forces considered an asset
- Knowledge of military terminology and careers
- High School Diploma required; Post secondary education preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in customer service or a similar role Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver’s license and own a reliable vehicle
